The celebration of Martin Luther King Jr.’s bday just passed and with it we have to remember the need to keep civil rights for everyone in the forefront of our minds. I came accross this flier today from the 1800’s where several negroes were being put up for auction. Read it very carefully, this was just under 200 years ago in our country that people were treated this way. And today in parts of the world this type of thing is still going on.
