										<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Well well well, the supreme court today gave Dubya the Gitmo smack down, pretty amazing if your not familar let me see if I can lay it out for you. Basically one of the detainees at Guantonomo Bay filed a petition with the court saying that he could (or should) not be tried in a military court but that they should be allowed his due process under the Geneva convention. If you want the long drawn out version here is the whole rulling <a href="http://laws.findlaw.com/us/000/05-184.html" target="_blank">here</a>. The amazing thing about this was that many people painted Dubya&#8217;s appointments to the Supreme court as the end of the Liberal Supreme court as we know it and then the first time at bat the court totally goes against Dubya. I&#8217;m sure that is the last thing he expected.</p>
